SHOT Show is a trade-only event. It is not open to the public, and attendance requires industry or media credentials. Details are on the NSSF site.

Why Las Vegas

The first SHOT Show was held in St. Louis in 1979. The show has called Las Vegas its permanent home since 2011, and it brings tens of thousands of industry visitors to the city each year. Nevada’s friendly laws and the Las Vegas desert, where Industry Day at the Range is held, make it a natural fit. Boulder Rifle and Pistol Club outside Las Vegas has hosted the range day.

SHOT Show week for local shooters

The show itself is closed to the public, but SHOT Show week is busy around town. Local ranges and shops host industry visitors, and new products announced at the show start showing up in Las Vegas gun shops soon after.
